Prices for braces on the site are indicated mainly for 2 jaws, but there are dental clinics that indicate the cost of setting braces for 1 jaw.
Also, before setting braces, it is mandatory:
- be sure to take a panoramic picture;
- conduct professional oral hygiene;
- eliminate caries;
- before installing the bracket system, it is possible to remove wisdom teeth (eighth teeth);
- if there are metal-ceramic or ceramic crowns, they need to be replaced with plastic ones, for more reliable fixation of the braces, since if you install the braces on a ceramic base, they will peel off.
Considering these additional manipulations, we advise, and it is best to make an appointment with an orthodontist for a consultation and examination, where you will receive a preliminary plan with the cost of treatment (do not forget to bring with you a recently taken panoramic image that is not older than 6 months).

The cost of a panoramic image is for two jaws.
Panoramic X-ray of teeth is a modern method used by dental clinics to obtain reliable information about the condition of both jaws and the dentition. Many dental professionals recommend an orthopantomogram (OPTG) due to the numerous benefits of the procedure. Panoramic X-ray is the most effective method for assessing the condition of the oral cavity. In addition, the technique is absolutely safe for human health, unlike conventional x-rays of teeth, not to mention all the possibilities that OPTG opens up for patients.
When should a panoramic dental X-ray be taken?
As a rule, the passage of an orthopantomogram is recommended by dentists as an initial diagnosis. Thanks to the picture, the dentist makes a clearer overall picture of the condition of the teeth, which is reflected in the effectiveness of the prescribed treatment plan. It is for this reason that this technique can be used by a variety of dentists, from general practitioners to orthodontists.
On a panoramic x-ray of the teeth you can see:
- Condition of both jaws.
- The shape and features of the teeth (important in the diagnosis of caries).
- The condition of the roots of the teeth (important when filling canals).
- The condition of the soft tissues (important in determining emerging cysts and granulomas).
- Condition of wisdom teeth and their germs.
- Condition of impacted teeth, etc.
If you want to take a panoramic x-ray of teeth in Kyiv, the price of which will be affordable, and the quality of the procedure will be consistently high, then it is best to select a clinic on the 101 dentist portal, which contains the best dental centers, the price-quality ratio of which has already passed through numerous checks.
A panoramic photo should be taken in the following cases:
- Simultaneous treatment of two or more teeth.
- Preparation for surgical operations.
- Preparation for prosthetics (dental implants).
If a long process of tooth restoration is planned, then it may require several pictures. Taking the first picture will allow the doctor to choose the right treatment method, and the second picture will need to be taken after the treatment is completed. Such a picture is also called a control picture. If the dentist has even the slightest doubt regarding the condition of a particular tooth, a targeted image of one tooth is always available. Do not be afraid of the procedure, because it is always better to treat before serious problems arise than to eliminate their consequences after.
